  1. Open the Skillazo app
  2. Go to Profile → Settings
  3. Scroll to "Account Management"
  4. Tap "Delete Account"
  5. Confirm your decision
Option 2: Email Request

Send an email to: support@skillazo.com

  • Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
  • Include your registered email address
  • We'll process your request within 48 hours

What Happens When You Delete Your Account

Immediately Deleted:

  • Your profile and personal information
  • Your uploaded videos and content
  • Your messages and conversations
  • Your follower/following connections
  • Your saved athletes and preferences
  • Your subscription (if active)

Retained for Legal Compliance:

  • Transaction records (kept for 7 years for tax purposes)
  • Records required by law enforcement (if applicable)
  • Anonymized analytics data
⚠️ Important Notes
  • This action is permanent and cannot be undone
  • Active subscriptions will be cancelled immediately
  • You will not receive refunds for unused subscription time
  • Your username will become available for others to use
  • Downloaded copies of your videos by other users cannot be deleted

SKILLAZO TERMS OF USE

– IMPORTANT — NO PAY-TO-PLAY:** Athletes are **not required to pay** any recruiter, team, school, club, agent, or user on Skillazo for contact, consideration, tryouts, or offers. The only fees Skillazo collects are optional Platform subscription fees. **Any request for payment is prohibited** and should be reported immediately in-app or to safety@skillazo.co.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

1.1 Agreement to Terms 

By accessing or using Skillazo’s platform, mobile applications, websites, APIs, or any related

services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use

(“Terms”), our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and all policies referenced herein. If

you do not agree, you must not use our Services.

1.2 Ability to Accept Terms

You affirm that you are:

  • At least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction)
  • If under 18, have obtained verifiable parental/guardian consent
  • Not prohibited from using the Services under applicable laws
  • Not previously banned or suspended from the Services

1.3 Updates to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via:

  • Email to your registered address
  • In-app notifications
  • Prominent notice on our website

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

2. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND TYPES

Fan Account

  • Individual fans supporting athletes, teams, and content on the platform
  • Create a profiles and upload videos
  • Free and premium tiers available

Athlete Account

  • Individual athletes showcasing their abilities
  • Build profiles, upload videos, connect with teams/recruiters
  • Free and premium tiers available

Team Account

  • Schools, clubs, academies, and organizations
  • Manage rosters, upload team content, communicate with athletes
  • Free, Gold ($9.99/month), and Platinum ($19.99/month) tiers

Recruiter Account

  • Scouts, coaches, and recruiting coordinators
  • Search athletes, create watchlists, contact prospects
  • Individual and institutional plans availableGuardian Account
  • Parents/legal guardians of minor athletes
  • Oversight dashboard, communication monitoring, consent management
  • Automatically created when linked to minor athlete

2.2 Account Registration Requirements

You must provide:

  • Accurate, current, and complete information
  • Valid email address and/or phone number
  • Real name (pseudonyms not permitted for verification)
  • Date of birth for age verification
  • Guardian consent if under 18

2.3 Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining confidentiality of login credentials
  • All activities under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of unauthorized access
  • Not sharing accounts or credentials

We recommend:

  • Strong, unique passwords
  • Two-factor authentication (mandatory for Team accounts)
  • Regular security reviews

2.4 Account Verification

We may offer or require verification for:

  • Identity confirmation• School/organization affiliation
  • Coach/recruiter credentials
  • Guardian relationships

Verification badges indicate completed checks but do not guarantee eligibility, performance,

or endorsement by Skillazo.

3. SUBSCRIPTION PLANS AND PAYMENTS

3.1 Subscription Tiers

Athlete Plans

  • Basic (Free)**: Essential features with limitations
  • Gold ($9.99/month)**: Enhanced visibility and features

Team Plans

  • Free Team**: Up to 15 roster spots, 10 videos/month
  • Gold Team ($9.99/month)**: Unlimited roster, all features
  • Platinum Team ($19.99/month)**: Priority placement and support

Recruiter Plans

  • Scout Basic (Free)**: Limited searches and contacts
  • Scout Gold ($9.99/month)**: Advanced search and messaging
  • Scout Platinum ($19.99/month)**: Gold + additional features
  • Institution ($Custom)**: Enterprise features and API access

3.2 Payment Terms

  • Billing Cycle**: Monthly or annual (with discount)
  • Auto-Renewal**: Subscriptions renew automatically• Payment Methods**: Credit/debit cards, digital wallets
  • Currency**: USD (local currency where available)
  • Taxes**: You’re responsible for applicable taxes

3.3 Prohibited Financial Transactions

  • CRITICAL: The following are strictly prohibited:
  • Paying recruiters, scouts, or coaches outside official Skillazo subscriptions
  • Charging athletes for roster spots or team placement
  • Selling or purchasing contact information
  • Pay-for-ranking or pay-for-recommendation schemes
  • Any quid pro quo arrangements involving money or benefits
  • Violations result in immediate, permanent ban from the platform.

3.4 Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancel anytime through account settings
  • Cancellation effective at end of billing period
  • No refunds for partial periods (unless required by law)
  • Free trial converts to paid unless cancelled

TEAM ACCOUNTS – SPECIAL PROVISIONS

4.1 Team Administrator Requirements

Team administrators must:

  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Provide verified identity and affiliation
  • Maintain current SafeSport certification (where applicable)• Accept additional Team Account Agreement
  • Ensure all team staff comply with policies

4.2 Roster Management

Adding Athletes to Roster:

  • Athletes 18+: Single approval required
  • Athletes under 18: Dual-approval system
  • Athlete must accept invitation
  • Guardian must approve within 7 days
  • Both can withdraw consent anytime

Roster Visibility Settings:

  • Public: Visible to all users
  • Followers Only: Visible to team followers
  • Verified Scouts Only: Verified recruiters only (Gold+)
  • Premium Only: Premium subscribers only (Gold+)
  • Internal Only: Team members and guardians only

4.3 Team Content Management

Content Categories:

  • Training: Practice and skill development
  • Match Day: Game/competition footage
  • Highlights: Best moments compilation
  • Behind the Scenes: Team culture content

Visibility Controls:

  • Public: Available to all platform users
  • Internal: Only roster members, staff, and guardians
  • Internal content cannot be shared externally

4.4 SafeSport Compliance
All team accounts must:

  • Acknowledge U.S. Center for SafeSport standards
  • Implement transparent communication policies
  • Maintain immutable message logs (24-month minimum)
  • Enable automatic guardian CC for minor communications
  • Submit to periodic compliance audits

4.5 Team Communication Features

Mass Messaging (Gold/Platinum):

  • Send to entire roster or filtered groups
  • Attachment support (images, PDFs, videos)
  • Read receipts and delivery confirmation
  • Guardian auto-CC for minors cannot be disabled

Communication Audit Trail:

  • All messages retained and auditable
  • Export capability for Gold/Platinum
  • Available for legal/safety investigations
  • Guardian access to all minor communications

5. CONTENT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Team announcements and messages are **retained for at least 24 months** and may be

retained longer where required for minor safety, compliance, or legal reasons (see the

Privacy Policy).

5.1 Your Content“Your Content” includes all materials you upload, post, or transmit:

  • Videos, photos, and images
  • Profile information and athletic data
  • Messages and communications
  • Comments and interactions

5.2 License Grant to Skillazo

You grant Skillazo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable

license to:

  • Host, store, and backup your content
  • Display according to your privacy settings
  • Modify for technical requirements (formatting, quality)
  • Create thumbnails and previews
  • Distribute through platform features
  • Use for promotional purposes (with attribution)

This license continues for archived/cached copies after deletion for a reasonable period.

5.3 License Between Users

For Public Content: Users may view, share (where enabled), and interact with your public content through platform features only.

For Team Content:

  • Team retains rights to team-generated content
  • Athletes retain rights to individual performance content
  • Shared rights for content featuring multiple parties

5.4 Intellectual Property Rights
You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have rights to all content you upload
  • Your content doesn’t infringe any third-party rights
  • You have permissions for people appearing in content
  • You have rights to any music or audio included

7. SAFETY AND PROTECTION OF MINORS

7.1 Age Requirements

7.2 Guardian Rights and Controls

For users under 18, guardians have:

7.3 Communication Restrictions

  • Direct messaging may be limited or disabled
  • All coach/recruiter messages copy guardians
  • Group messages subject to moderation
  • No private off-platform communication facilitation• Team announcements and messages are **retained for at least 24 months** and may be retained longer where required for minor safety, compliance, or legal reasons (see the Privacy Policy).

7.4 Meeting and Tryout Safety

  • In-Person Meetings:
  • Must include appropriate adult supervision
  • Comply with local laws and regulations
  • Follow school/organization policies
  • Never arranged privately through platform

7.5 Reporting Obligations

We report suspected child abuse to:

  • National Center for Missing & Exploited Children
  • Appropriate law enforcement

Users must report concerning behavior immediately.

11.4 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our liability is limited to subscription fees paid
  • We’re not liable for indirect/consequential damages
  • We’re not liable for user content or actions
  • We’re not liable for third-party services

12. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold Skillazo harmless from claims arising from:

  • Your use of the Services
  • Your content
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Violation of third-party rights
  • Actions of minors under your guardianship

13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

13.1 Informal Resolution

13.2 Binding Arbitration

Disputes not resolved informally will be settled by binding arbitration under AAA rules,

except:

  • Small claims court matters
  • Injunctive relief for IP violations
  • Matters involving minor safety

Arbitration Notice & 30-Day Opt-Out

Before starting arbitration, a party must email a Notice of Dispute to

**privacy@skillazo.co** and allow 30 days for informal resolution. Except for small-claims

court, disputes are resolved by binding **AAA Consumer Arbitration**, seat **Delaware**,

conducted in English. You may **opt out** within 30 days of creating your account by

emailing **privacy@skillazo.co** with your name, account email, and a clear statement that

you opt out. Class actions are waived to the extent permitted by law. Non-waivable

consumer rights remain unaffected.

13.3 Class Action Waiver

You waive the right to participate in class actions against Skillazo.

13.4 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Delaware law, excluding conflict of law principles.14. TERMINATION

Arbitration Notice & 30-Day Opt-Out

Before starting arbitration, a party must email a Notice of Dispute to **privacy@skillazo.co** and allow 30 days for informal resolution. Except for small-claims court, disputes are resolved by binding **AAA Consumer Arbitration**, seat **Delaware**, conducted in English. You may **opt out** within 30 days of creating your account by emailing **privacy@skillazo.co** with your name, account email, and a clear statement that you opt out. Class actions are waived to the extent permitted by law. Non-waivable consumer rights remain unaffected.

14.1 Your Right to Terminate

You may delete your account anytime through account settings.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Safety concerns
  • Extended inactivity

Upon termination:

• Team roster spots or tryouts

• Profile views or messages

4.2 Legitimate Financial Transactions

• Tournament or camp registrations (off-platform)
• Equipment or merchandise (off-platform)

4.3 Amateur Status Protection

Teams and Recruiters Must Not:

• Offer improper benefits
• Violate NCAA/NAIA eligibility rules
• Provide prohibited inducements
• Compromise amateur status

5. TEAM-SPECIFIC STANDARDS

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

Repeat Infringer Policy

It is Skillazo’s policy, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, to disable or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.

A “repeat infringer” is any user who has received multiple valid DMCA takedown notices regarding their uploaded content.

Upon receiving a valid notice, Skillazo may remove or disable access to the infringing content.

Users who repeatedly infringe may have their accounts suspended or terminated.

Skillazo may also restrict access for users who are subject to repeated valid complaints, even if they do not strictly qualify as repeat infringers.
